Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Whittington of Lake St. John announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Whittington to Anthony Morgan Helms, son of Wayne Helms and Melinda Ray of Eupora.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services in Madison.

She is the granddaughter of Doug Madison and the late Angela G. Madison of Lake St. John and Joyce Whittington and the late Earl Whittington of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bryant of Starkville and the late Casey O. Helms of Pheba and Pat R. Bailey and the late Lloyd Ray of Eupora.

He is employed by Edison Chouest Offshore in Louisiana.

The wedding will be at 5:30 .m., Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Northpointe Red Barn in Ridgeland.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
