NATCHEZ — Services for Mattie Lee Mayfield, 91, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in Indianola, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Traci Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hayes was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Adams County, the daughter of Guy and Francis Mayfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lucille Mayfield; four sisters, Charlotte Mayfield, Ethel Newman, Louise Mayfield and Laura Lee Mayfield; and three brothers, Fred Mayfield, Steve Mayfield and Lawrence Mayfield.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary McFarland; two sons, Edward Mayfield and David Williams; one sister, Leola Mayfield; one brother, Joe Mayfield; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
