Alton and Connie Magee of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Smith to Cody Floyd, son of George and Melisa Inman of Roxie and the late Cecil Floyd of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University School of Nursing in Natchez. She is employed by Concordia Parish Correctional Facility in Ferriday as a registered nurse.

She is the granddaughter of the late James and Doris Johnese of Vidalia and Margaret Magee and the late Harold Mage of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is employed by Inman Trucking in Roxie.

He is the grandson of Jerry and Diane Nations of Roxie, Sam and Evon Floyd of Vidalia and John and Charlotte Foy of Roxie.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the homestead of Ross McGehee in Natchez. Follow the balloons for directions.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
