Tuesday, April 5

Kyrikus Mason, 28, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $15,000.

John Smith, 33, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Case remanded to files in consideration to guilty plea to DUI. Case dismissed after one year.

Antonio Kenyon Johnson, 31, pleaded guilty to reduced charge of misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $700. Bond set at $10,000.

Khadijah Mosby, 23, charged with possession of a controlled substance in a school/church zone. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $20,000.

Dedrick Scott, 19, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor stolen property. Sentenced to 60 days with 58 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $800. Bond set at $5,000.

Friday, April 8

William Barnes, 30, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded, for one year, then dismissed, at request of victim, officers and prosecutor.

Phillip Penton, 49, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $643.

Julius Lawrence, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

 

Wednesday, April 10

Derenesha Winston, 18, charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Case dismissed — eyewitness not available and video has been recorded over.

Roshonda Cade, 25, charged with simple assault. Case remanded for six months and dismissed — victim not served.

Kimberly Cade, 22, charged with simple assault. Case remanded for six months and dismissed — victim not served.

Shaneiqua R. Ceasor, 22, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Jarri Dee Matise, 53, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Wednesday, April 13

Larry Penton, 54, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.
