On the girls’ doubles court, Lucy Pyron and Tali Beard picked up a 6-4, 6-0 win. On Court 2, McKenzie Smith and Hannah Fitt swept in their match 6-0, 6-0.

The boys’ doubles court featured young pairs on the Trinity squad.

“They do well for seventh graders playing up at varsity,” Pyron said.

In mixed doubles, Harris Pyron and Taylor Lessley locked down the sweep for Trinity with a 6-4, 6-1 win.

Adams County coach Jim Bob Allgood said Trinity’s squad is a good litmus test for his squad as they set their sights on upcoming events.

“It’s a good push for our kids to get ready for the district tournament,” Allgood said. “Even though they’re in a different division, Trinity always pushes the envelope with us.”

Adams County’s district tournament is April 28 at Jones Junior College.

Trinity prepares for South State on May 3 and 4. Wilkinson County Christian Academy will play host, but the tournament will be at Duncan Park.
