Marjorie Forrest Germany

DALLAS — Memorial services for Marjorie Forrest Germany, 94, beloved “Gamma,” who died Friday, June 17, 2016, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas.

A reception will be immediately follow the service.

Mrs. Germany was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Chicago, Ariel and Edith Forrest.

She moved to Dallas and attended Highland Park High School. She married her sweetheart, Norman “Bowser/Pappy” Germany. Together they lived in Dallas, McComb and Natchez.

Mrs. Germany was preceded in death by her love of 67 years, Pappy; her parents; one brother, Bob Forrest; and one grandson, David Callan.

Survivors include four children, Jeannie Bentley, Susie Germany, Patty Germany and Forrest Germany and wife, Leighann; and grandchildren, Amye and Jeff Johnson, Gary and Lisa Fulkerson, Maggie and Stephanie Giust, Paige and Darren Willard, Jennifer and Bobby Croswell, Benjamin and Caroline Germany, Michael Germany, Ruth Ann Richardson, Samuel Richardson, Ben Callan, Laurie Mitchell, Brian and Jenny Cross.
