FERRIDAY — Services for Bonnie Jean Hula, 80, of Ridgecrest, who died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, in Ridgecrest, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou in Ferriday with the Rev. Gary Howington, the Rev. Jeremy Howington and the Rev. Tim Vanier officiating.
Burial will follow at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Pineville, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Hula was born March 30, 1936, in Jonesville, the daughter of Thomas Henry Vanier and Ethel Jones Vanier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Beverly Buchanan; and one brother, Henry Paul Vanier.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Money and husband, John, of Ferriday and Rita Juneau of Natchez; two sons, Bennie Tarver and wife, Linda, of Ferriday and Bobby Tarver of Conroe, Texas; life partner, Troy Kitchens of Ridgecrest; one brother, Jimmy Vanier of Vidalia; two sisters, Catherine Bashrum and husband, Ray, of Pineville, and Doris Boney and husband, Edward, of Ball, La.; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Vanier of Vidalia and Rose Brandon of Alvin, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandson, Stephen Tarver, Thomas Tarver, John Money, Michael Money, Benjamin Money, Josh Juneau and Heath Juneau.
