NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Sue Estelle Parks, 85, of Mandeville, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, in Mandeville, will be 2 p.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Seth Stiles officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parks was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Augustus Scroggin Eastin and Jessie Alice Barksdale Eastin.
She married Stanley Parks and they had two children. She was a resident of Natchez until 1960, and then relocated to Mandeville. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Eastin.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly Parks Shealy and husband, Ruben, of Covington, La.; one son, Tony Parks of Nashville; three grandsons, Kyle Eastin Shealy of Abita Springs, La., Mason Parks Shealy and Ethan Hunter Shealy, both of Covington; three great-grandsons, Jackson Shealy, Clark Shealy and Ryder Shealy, all of Abita Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Shealy, Kyle Shealy, Mason Shealy, Ethan Shealy, Tony Parks and Finley Hootsell.
