CANNONSBURG — Services for Mable “Tiny” Thomas Champ, 77, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Cannonsburg with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.   1118-mablethomaschamp-obitpic
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Champ was born July 4, 1939, in Woodville, the daughter of Leonard “Red” Thomas Sr. and Charlesteen Turner Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leonard Thomas Jr.; and one sister, Andre Thomas.
Survivors include six sons, Melvin Champ, Anthony Thomas and wife, Jada, and Gerald Thomas and wife, Cellesene, all of Jackson, Ronald Thomas and wife, Felicia, of Richardson, Texas, and Michael Champ and Terry Champ Sr., both of Natchez; three daughters, Denise Champ, Bernadine Cameron and husband, Dwight, and Catina Kaho and husband, Shawn, all of Natchez; one brother, Roosevelt “Humbo” Thomas and wife, Victoria, of San Francisco; one sister, Mable Lee Vaughn of Woodville; and a number of other relatives and friends.
