WOODVILLE — Graveside services for Raymond Searcy Olive Jr., 75, of Woodville, who died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Warren Whitaker officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.

Mr. Olive was born in Dyess, Ark., the son of Ray Searcy Olive Sr. and Claudia Mae Holt Olive.

He was a retired police officer and a member of Woodville Baptist Church.

Mr. Olive was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Linda Jean Olive.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Olive of Woodville; four sons, Ray Olive, Scott Olive, both of Woodville, Fred Olive of New London, N.H., and Lance Olive of Olive Branch; one sister, Tommie Jo Blackmon of Woodville; eight grandchildren and one great-granchild.

Pallbearers will be Ray Olive, Lance Olive, Fred Olive, Scott Olive, Sutton Olive and Will Olive.

Honorary pallbearers Lee Carter, James Spinks, Sam Blackmon, Larry McKroskey, Charlie Netterville and Howard Netterville.
