NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Ruth Rose Cloy, 85, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Brookdale Senior Living in Hattiesburg, will be 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Timmy Cloy officiating.

Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cloy was born Oct. 9, 1931, the daughter of Clarence V. Knight and Maybell Brasher Knight.

She was retired from juvenile detention center in Natchez. Mrs. Cloy was a beloved mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. Cloy; sisters, Pearl, Eliser and Ruby Herrington and Lillie Cooley; and one grandson, David Cloy.

Survivors include, one son, Robbie Cloy of Natchez; one daughter, Penny Davis of Petal; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah  Cloy, Brandon Cloy, Wesley Cloy, Swane Cupit, Anthony Davis and Tony Davis.
