NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Lee Russell, 63, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating.  
Burial will follow at Skinner’s Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Russell was born Jan. 19, 1954, in Natchez, the son of Clarence Griffin and Annie Russell.
He was a construction worker and a member of the Northside Horseriding Club.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Robert Calviet McGuire.
Survivors include a devoted companion, Mary Armsted; two daughters, Chituita Carter and Deloris Ware and husband, Marvin; seven sons, Clarence Armsted and wife, Carol, Larry Armsted and wife, Gilbertine, Paul Armsted, Steve Armsted, Patrick Armsted, Herbert Armsted and Lonnie Armsted; three special grandchildren, Lashonda Ware, LaRhonda Ware and Marlena Ware; one aunt, Alma Rose Woods; one niece, Demetrius Russell; and a number of other relatives and friends.
