Leanne Cothern/Akins, 42, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance — crystal methamphetamine. Case remanded to files at recommendation of prosecutor.

Danny Hazlip, 62, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor embezzlement. Sentenced to 90 days with 31 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for 49 days served. Must serve 10 days in jail. Fine set at $1,000. Restitution set at $2,577 to be paid to Bruce Moak. Bond set at $10,000.

Johnnie Jackson, 57, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $25,000 to $10,000.

Valerie R. Moore, 54, charged with aggravated assault — extreme indifference. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $125,000.

Zed Patterson, 31, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance — marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $550. Total bond set at $10,000.

Crystal D. Robinson, 31, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 180 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $500. All costs related to the shooting and subsequent emergency services and medical treatment shall be paid in full. Bond set at $100,000.

Timothy Pierre Vanison, 46, charged with possession of a controlled substance in a church zone. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $15,000.

Melvin Warner pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. Sentenced to 180 days with 155 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for 25 days served. Fine set at $1,000. Restitution set at $1,018.81 to be paid to Walmart.
