WASHINGTON — Services for John Clay McNeil, III, 51 of Monterey, who died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at his residence, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Methodist Church with brother Curtis Gibson officiating.

The funeral is under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time on Tuesday at the church.

Mr. McNeil was born on Tuesday, July 27, 1965, in New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his father, John McNeil Jr.; and paternal grandparents, John Clay McNeil and Wilma McNeil.

Survivors include wife, Joyce Yvonne McNeil; mother, Eula Cooper McNeil; daughter, Whitney L. Gordon and husband, Mark I. Gordon; son, John Clay McNeil IIII and Kelsey James; daughter, Jessica McNeil and Brandon Stowers; brother, Philip Brooks and wife, Elizabeth; two sisters, Bobbi Young and Toni McHale and Mickey; and two grandsons, Zachary Gordon and Carter Stowers; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
