Kade Pigg and Patrick Sandridge each had three touchdown runs as the Canton Academy Panthers defeated the Trinity Episcopal Saints 45-14 Friday night.

The first quarter was really the most contested quarter of the game. After Ryan Lindsey made a 25-yard field goal at the 7:10 mark, Jakarius Caston returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to give Trinity Episcopal a 6-3 lead with 6:46 to go.

It would remain that way until Sandridge scored on a 22-yard run with 8:05 left in the second quarter to give Canton Academy the lead for good.
