WOODVILLE — Services for Judy Hughes Sanders, 72, of Woodville, who died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. today at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with the Rev. Warren Whitaker Sr. and the Rev. Warren Whitaker Jr.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sanders was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Centreville, the daughter of John C. Hughes and Leola McCurley Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Cherie Sanders.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton “Bubba” Sanders; two sons, Todd Sanders and Scott Sanders, both of Woodville; one brother, J.C. Hughes of Summit; three grandchildren, Hayes Sanders of Hattiesburg, Thomas Sanders and Anna Laura Sanders, both of Woodville.

Pallbearers will be Mike Sanders, Mark Sanders, Ronnie Longmire, Danny Ray Longmire, Robert Longmire and Brett Longmire.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Mrs. Sanders’ memory to Wilkinson County Christian Academy, P.O. Box 977, Woodville, MS 39669.
