CRANFIELD — Funeral services for Tammy Renee’ Melton, 54, who died on Nov. 15, 2017, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church in Cranfield.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Wake services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Melton was born on Oct. 19, 1963, the daughter of Charlie and Ruth Nations.  On Nov. 15, her greatest desire was granted when she departed this world and conquered her greatest sorrow.

She was preceded in death and reunited with her greatest love, Hiram Melton, her daughter, Amanda McElroy, her sister Cathy Bowman and her parents.

Survivors include six sons, T.J. McElroy, Bill Nations, Jeffrey Adams, Bo Dixon, Slayer Coleman, and Chester Coleman; 10 daughters, Stephanie Bowman and her fiancé, Ryan, Laura and Josie Carithers, Christie and Boo Gossett, Misty Nations, Rebecca Nations, Tracy and Tony Hester, Michelle and Chris Surrena, Jennifer and Chris Watson, Jamie and Floyd Murphy and Crystal Coleman; one sister and best friend, Helen Nations; four brothers, Kevin Nations, Tommy and Diane McElroy, Ronnie and Melisa McElroy, and Keith Nations; two maternal aunts, Nee Nee Nations and Lily Hedgepeth; two maternal uncles, Rocky Nations and James Hedgepeth; 23 grandchildren: Tommy “lil man” McElroy III, Morgan McElroy, Dean Edwards, Mandalynn McCoy, Carolyn McCoy, Tommy Gene McCoy, Catlin Carithers, Destiny Gossett, Zach Gossett, Hope Gossett, Sabrina Dunlap, Tarah Badgett, Laura Ferry, Cody Ladnier, Samantha Hester, Katie Hester, Charlie Murphy, Riley Murphy, Jacey Watson, Shayne Adams, Hazel Adams, and Taylor Adams; six great-grandchildren: Jax McDaniel, Noah Ferry, Ava Johnston, Emily Tilley, Callie Tilley and Dakota Wyant; a cousin and best frend, Rhonda McElroy; a very loved and spoiled dog, Callie McElroy.

Her loved ones will meet her at the pearly gates and rejoice upon her homecoming. Her broken heart mended, she smiles again; Har and TT are together again with their baby girl, Manda.
