FERRIDAY — Services for Hannah Elizabeth Nugent, 7, of Ridgecrest, who died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ferriday First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Robertson and the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Hannah Beth was born March 25, 2010, in Natchez, the daughter of Tres and Amber Nugent.

She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church where she was very active in music, singing and playing multiple instruments. She loved spreading the word of Jesus and greeting everyone at church with a smile.

Hannah was a prayer warrior! She gave her heart to the Lord in July 2016. She loved math, spelling, reading and being a cheerleader for the Little Twisters at Delta Charter School. She enjoyed softball, drawing, baking, playing board games and bossing her little brother around.

Hannah was a natural leader, but loved following the word of God.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Raymond Nugent.

Survivors include her parents; one brother, Hudson Nugent of Ridgecrest; maternal grandparents, Glen and Penny Harrigill of Ferriday; paternal grandparents, Dickie and Melissa Nugent of Nashville, Tenn.; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Skinner of Deville, La.; maternal great-grandparents, Garfield and Henrietta Braswell of Ferriday; maternal great-grandparents, Linfield and Nellie Harrigill of Vidalia; paternal great-grandmother, Gale Nugent of Deville; paternal great-grandparents, Loyd and Ann Wade of Deville; paternal great-great-grandmother, Lillie Beasley of Deville; uncle and aunt, Paul and Kelsi Harrigill of Vinemont, Ala.; great-aunts and great-uncles, Dean and Tina Nugent, Denny and Carol Braswell, Bobby Braswell, Johnny and Kim Braswell, Cheryl Blanton, Tonya Knapp-LeBlanc and Ashley Edmonson; and cousins, Carter Harrigill, Colton, Lacie and Lynsie Nugent, Mark, Chelsea, Derek, Holden, Jesse, Ashlee and Makenzee Braswell, Adrian and Sadie Davis, Annie Ruth White, Audrey Burns and Jared Blanton.

Pallbearers will be Paul Harrigill, Colton Nugent, Denny Braswell, Bobby Braswell, Mark Braswell and Dean Nugent.

Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Braswell, Bobby Mulvihill, James Thomas and David Roum.
