The bride was given in marriage by her father, accompanied by her four brothers. She wore a classic styled fit and flare lace Berta gown with full length sleeves and a high neckline. The sleeves and neckline were offset by a low back and cathedral-length train. Exquisite pearls and beading highlighted the delicate lace and the fit and flare silhouette of the gown. The look was completed with a Sara Gabriel lace trimmed Spanish veil. She carried a bouquet consisting of white roses, peonies, eucalyptus, stock and other greenery.  Her grandmother’s clustered pearl brooch was attached to the bouquet stem.

Joni’ Mckenzie and Lara Boothe served their sister as matron and maid of honor. Also attending as maid of honor was Abbey Ashmore. Bridesmaids were Ellisa Boothe, Jessicah Fairbanks, Hunter Gardner, Ava McKenzie, Paige Whittington, Sarah Bethany Willard and Brittany Wood. The bride’s niece, Addison McKenzie, served as flower girl.

Bo Winston served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Devin Barnes, Wyatt Boothe, Jake Brumfield, Chance Fenn, Colton Freeman, Matthew Freeman, Eric James, Kent King, Austin Millet, Riley Smith, Clay Tageant, and David Walley. The bridegroom’s nephew, Ty James Winston, served as ringbearer.

Ushers were Joey Boothe and Alan Mckenzie. Program attendants were Emma Loomis and Caroline Sutherland.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Natchez Community Center. For the reception, the bride added a shorter tulle skirt to the original top piece of her wedding gown.

The bride’s six-tier wedding cake consisted of vanilla cream, lemon, and raspberry filling. Pearls and lace embellished the cake, while a gold monogram completed its look. The bridegroom’s three-tier chocolate cake was filled with chocolate chips and covered in whipped ganache.  It was decorated as a baseball to reflect his occupation as a professional baseball player. The top tier displayed a replica of the bridegroom’s signature, completing the cake’s look as a “signed baseball.”

Guests enjoyed a variety of southern cuisines and cocktails, including cochon de lait, shrimp and grits, and Natchitoches meat pies. Entertainment was provided by Creativity band of Atlanta.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at The Castle Restaurant and Pub in Natchez.

After their honeymoon in Grand Exuma, the couple will reside at Lucerna Plantation until the groom has to report to Arizona for spring training in March.
