Engagement: Odenwald and Weimar
f Shreveport, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sophia Christine Weimar, to Joseph Learned Odenwald, son of Valda Roberts and Jay Odenwald of Ferriday.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Caddo Magnet High School and is attending Louisiana College where she is majoring in nursing. She is the granddaughter of Faye Everett and the late John W. Everett Sr. of Shreveport, Gwen Weimar of Huntsville, Texas, and Ray Weimar of Houston, Texas.
The groom is a graduate of Louisiana College. He is pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Pollock.
He is the grandson of Jean and Joe Odenwald of Ferriday, Larry and Ann Roberts of Bossier City, and Irene and Bill Brewer of Natchez.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Bossier City.
Wedding: Stubbs and Fortenberry
Jessica Berard Fortenberry of Baton Rouge and Nathaniel Kenneth Stubbs of Baton Rouge were married June 3, 2006, at Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, with the Rev. Ken Ritter officiating.
Parents of the couple are Felice Fortenberry of Natchez and Joseph Fortenberry of Natchez and Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wilson Stubbs of Natchez.
Music for the ceremony was provided by David Troutman.
The bride wore a strapless one piece champagne gown by Maggie Sottero. The satin gown was ornamented with lace appliques on the bodice. Lace and Austrian crystals embellished the illusion tulle train.
Katherine Cole Leachman of Little Rock, Ark., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Joanna Stubbs and Carrie Pugh, both of Natchez. They wore tea length pale pink organza strapless dresses by Raylia. The dresses were trimmed with pink cerise.
Andrew James Stubbs of Baton Rouge was best man. Groomsmen were Julian Stubbs and Michael Burkley, both of Natchez and Preston Francis of Jackson.
Ushers were Henry Francis Leachman of Fayetteville, Ark., Stephen Michel of Baton Rouge, and Lindsey Callon of Natchez.
A reception was held at Dunleith following the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will live in Baton Rouge.
Wedding: Lott and Price
Rachel Price of Natchez and Brian Lott of Cleveland were married Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez, with the Rev. David O’Connor and the Rev. Tom Lalor officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ken Price of Natchez, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lott of Cleveland. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Henry Comer, and the late Bobby Comer of Vidalia, and Ms. Bobby Price and the late Hollis Price of Natchez. Grandparents of the groom are Ms. Fern Aguzzi and the late Victor Aguzzi Sr. of Cleveland and Ms. Margaret Lott and the late Mr. James Allen Lott of Merigold.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Patrick Doherty, David Troutman, and Becky Stevens.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ken Price. She wore a white satin strap organza A-line gown with satin details at the waist and an apron back with a satin edge and chapel train, along with a two tiered short veil.
Heather Brooks of Atlanta served as maid of honor and Amy Travis Boyles of Franklin, Tenn. Served as matron of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Jodi Parsons Byrd of Pearl, Lauren Winston Callon of Atlanta, Ga., Melissa Stafford Lott of Cleveland, Anna Doxey Colebank of Biloxi, Shannon Reed McClure of Birmingham, Ala., Natalie Fern Whitten of Jackson, Amy Gay Callon, Brandi Nicole Halford, Nancy Elizabeth “Betsy” Hungerford, and Lindsay Morgan Devening, all of Natchez. They wore euro black strapless tea length dresses with a wide pewter sash.
Sydney Coryn Jackson of Natchez served as flower girl.
Marvin Louis Lott of Cleveland, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Victor Julius Aguzzi III, Michael Bradley Lott, Jeffery Michael Fioranelli, Nicolas Brady Lofton, all of Cleveland, Chad Joseph Blanchard, Michael Paul Mangialardi, Sam Anthony Mangialardi, all of Jackson, William Christopher Jackson of Natchez, Douglas Lee Boyles of Franklin, Tenn., William Guy Loftin of Meridian, and Matthew Raymond Rocconi of Monroe, La.

A reception was held at the Natchez Convention Center following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception was Rene’ Adams, Natchez Specialties, LLC. After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will live in Brandon.
Engagement: Whitaker and Holloway
Judy Reed of Vidalia, announces the engagement of her daughter, Carla Jo Holloway, to Warren Woods Whitaker II, son of Warren and Mona Whitaker of Woodville.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School. She is employed by Whitaker Eye Clinic in Woodville.
She is the granddaughter of the late Woodrow and Hazel Holloway of Gilbert, La.
The groom is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville and is a graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton. He is self employed at Warren Whitaker Lawn Service in Woodville.
He is the grandson of T. O. and Joy Whitaker of Woodville and W. V. Carter and the late Edith Carter of Woodville.
The wedding will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at The Corner Stone Church in Vidalia. A reception will follow at the church.

The groom is employed by UPS in Natchez.
He is the grandson of the late Jack and Elizabeth Duncan of Tylertown and Sibile Dixon and the late Ido Dixon of Tylertown.
The wedding will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Ridgecrest. A reception will follow at the church’s Reception Hall.

Wedding: Chaffin and Lambert
Jaime Lynn Lambert of Natchez and Douglas Bryant Chaffin of Hattiesburg were married Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Natchez, with the Rev. Ron Stoker officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James D. Lambert of Natchez, and Mr. and Mrs. Philip R. Chaffin of Natchez.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Anna Rose Davis.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. James D. Lambert.
She wore an ivory strapless satin A-line gown with beaded lace and a split champagne overskirt, and an ivory blusher and fingertip veil embellished with crystals and pearls.
Lisa Marie Lambert of Starkville, was maid of honor. Trisha Ann Lambert of Natchez, was the bridesmaid. They wore peridot dresses of their choice.
Flower girls were Hailey Jane Ellis, Gillian Taylor Thompson, Bailey Susan Thompson, all of Natchez, Ashleigh Nicole Williams of Woodville, and Martha Bramlette Lewis of Hattiesburg.
Mr. Phillip R. Chaffin of Natchez, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Philip Stuart Chaffin, and Sidney Houston Chaffin, both of Natchez.
Ring bearers were Bradly James Richardson and Casey Stuart Chaffin, both of Natchez.
A reception was held at Auburn following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Wilma Partridge and friends and family of the couple. After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will live in Hattiesburg.
