Jaclyn Beth Lanehart of Hattiesburg and Stanton Todd Pope of Meridian were married July 15, 2006, at their home in Meridian with the Rev. John Merritt officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jack Al and Robbie Lanehart of Natchez and Rebecca Pope of Waynesboro and Virgil Pope of Birmingham, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are Buck and Colleen Groves of Natchez and the late Otis and Yvonne Lanehart of Natchez.
Grandparents of the groom are Rebecca Dearman and Maude Pope of Waynesboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jack Al Lanehart. She wore an embroidered satin A-line dress with a split over skirt.
Anniston Cooper Pope of Meridian served as matron of honor.
Chapman Miles Pope of Meridian served as best man.
Lindsay Pope of Pedal was flower girl.
Jackson Blough of Maumelle, Ark. was ring bearer.
A reception was held at their home following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Dorothy Cox and Sherry Ezell.
Wedding: Felton and Walker
Reji Ja’Meke Walker of Natchez and Latroy Cortez Felton of Natchez were married Oct. 7, 2006, at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ray Walker of Natchez, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Felton of Natchez.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mr. Charles Rounds, Mrs. Larenza Jones, Ms. LaQuitha Jones, and Mrs. Debbie Mays.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. Kenneth Ray Walker Sr. She wore a captivating coutoure original gown in ivory, champagne and gold. It featured an A-line silhouette and satin shoulder straps. The ivory gown featured a contrasting yoke and hem on the cathedral-length train in champagne. Crystals, seed pearls, metallic embroidery, and vertical cascading bugle beading exquisitely covered the gown. Her complimentary headpiece featured a jeweled tiara and cathedral length, ivory illusion veil trimmed in champagne and hand sewn sequins and seed pearls.
Shelina Briggs of Baton Rouge served as maid of honor. She wore a dress made of a halter top with detail and peplum. Shawnee Wiley of Baytown, Texas served a matron of honor. She wore a butterscotch dress with strapless dropped waist bodice, wrapped with bias band and stole. Serving as bridesmaids were Jalynn Davis of Baton Rouge, Rashunda Felton and Tunisha Felton, both of Natchez, Ashley King Johnson and Miranda Nealy, both of Jackson, Zokwa Walker of Atlanta, Ga., and Tonya Williams of Baton Rouge. They wore coral dresses with strapless dropped waist bodice, wrapped with bias band and stole.
Kenzi Mo’Net Walker of Virginia Beach, Va., was miniature bride.
B’Lair Walker of Atlanta, Ga. and Jada Johnson of Natchez were flower girls.
Cornelius Brown of Houston, Texas served as best man and Willie Williams of Baton Rouge served as the better man. Groomsmen were Jarrod Bassett, Ricardo Jones, Jessie Williams, Larry Tremaine Thomas, and Randall Williams, all of Natchez and Tery Jones and Courtney Walker, both of Baton Rouge.
Cortlen Walker of Baton Rouge was the miniature groom.

Wedding: Ratcliffe and Duncan
Desiree Duncan of Morganfield, Ky. and Wade W. Ratcliffe of Natchez were married at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church in Natchez, with Dr. John Larson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Duncan of Morganfield, Ky. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Everette Ratcliffe III of Natchez.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jeannie Lanneau, Edna Katherine Apostle, and Marvin Kehler.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. William Thomas Duncan. She wore a Jim Hjelm couture bridal gown made of white English net, fully hand beaded and embroidered, off the shoulder A-line with a sweep train with three-quarter length sleeves.
Deidre Duncan McPeake of Morganfield, Ky. served as matron of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Elizabeth Thomas of Morganfield, Ky., Anna Bendinger of Birmingham, Ala., Kara DeRoche of Chattanooga, Tenn., Virginia Hancock of Lexington, Ky., Erin Eiler of San Jose, Calif., and Kendall Smith of Richmond, Ky. They wore strapless, tea-length dresses with a sash around the waist made of silk shantung in the color smoky blue.
Charles Everette Ratcliffe III of Natchez served as best man. Groomsmen were Wesley Arnold of Memphis, Tenn., Lindsey Callon of Natchez, Dunbar Jenkins of Oxford, Forrest Johnson of Natchez, Dixon Laird of Columbus, Ryan O’Beirne of Oxford, Calvit Ratcliffe of Memphis, Tenn., and Brant Ratcliffe of Madison.
A reception was held at Routhland following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were friends of the family.
After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands the couple will live in Hattiesburg.
Wedding: Patrick and Morgan
Brandee Ann Morgan of Pride, La., and Brian Justin Patrick of Pride, La., were married at 7 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2006, at Hemingbough in St. Francisville with the Rev. Lewis Morris officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Dee Morgan of Ethel, La. and Kerry Patrick of Monterey and the late Mary Sue Patrick of Vidalia.
The bride was given in marriage by Mike and Dee Morgan, parents of the bride. She wore a champagne and ivory gown adorned with beading and sequins. The gown had a cathedral length train and was embellished with gold embroidery. She wore a shimmer ivory full-length veil with ivory ribbon edging.
Ashley Norris of Pride served as maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Jackie Mardis of Natchez and Jenna Rainey of Brusly, La. They wore custom apple red dupioni silk dresses made by the grandmother of the bride. The dresses were floor-length, strapless and sheared at the waist.
Kaitlin Patrick of Vidalia was flower girl.
Kerry Patrick of Monterey served as best man. Groomsmen were Cody Morgan of Ethel and Neil Morgan of Westville, Fla.
Ushers were Travis Laiche of Ponchatoula, La., and Kirby McBride of DeRidder, La.

A reception was held at Heningbough following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Logan Avery, SharonChutz, Connie Pendarvis and Cristy Pitre. After a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple will live in Pride.
Wedding: Clark and Turnage
Olivia Turnage of Memphis, Tenn. and Toby Clark of Vidalia were married Oct. 8, 2006, at the Fairground Club in Lookout Mountain, Ga., with the Rev. Perry Scruggs officiating.
Parents of the couple are Douglas and Candace Clark of Vidalia and JoAnne Turnage of Memphis, Tenn.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Ernestine Ball.
The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. Paul Hess. She wore a vintage inspired A-line ivory beaded gown with sheer lace train.
Serving as bridesmaids were Britton Pinkham and Tracy White, both of Memphis, Tenn., and Jenny Clark of Vidalia. They wore sleeveless chocolate satin dresses with a pleated waist decorated with a white stone broach.
Junior bridesmaids were Miranda Gray and Lelia Gray.
Magnolia Markon and Soliel Turnage were flower girls.
Eric Campbell of Chattanooga, Tenn., served as best man. Groomsman was Drew Reamer of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Ushers were Everet Turnage and Spencer Gray, both of Memphis, Tenn.

After a wedding trip to the Carribean, the couple will live in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Engagement: Nix and Sanders
Mrs. Geraldine Sanders-James of Natchez, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Shanteya Sharelle Sanders, to Melvin Jerome Nix, son of Mrs. Shirley Ann Reed and Mr. Will Parker of Memphis, Tenn.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ferriday High School. She is employed by J. C. Penney’s Styling Salon.
She is the granddaughter of Ms. Laura Bowman.
The groom is a graduate of Ferriday High School. He is employed by Denton and James Trucking Company.
The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday. A reception will follow at the Community Center in Ferriday.
