Fred's Greenhouses continue long Poinsettia tradition

Published Sunday, December 2, 2007

With the month of December comes the return of the euphoria pulcherrima, Latin for very beautiful, or poinsettia. August to December at Fred’s Greenhouses & Garden Center is all about poinsettias. The plants start as four-inch, plain-green plugs and blossom into their striking shades after two months of care. By the beginning of December they’ve become delicate icons of the season.

I always buy my plants from Fred's because they are the nicest most caring nursery in Natchez! Really nice sweet people that run it and they also have the best stuff and the best prices.
