Norwood leads WCCA Rams to win over third win of season

NATCHEZ — The ACCS Rebels (0-3) kept it close for three periods against the WCCA Rams (3-0).
But they were unable to catch up as the Rams rallied behind Trumaine Norwood’s 24 points to win 53-40.
It was a sloppy first half with both teams committing a total of 15 fouls in the first period.
“The fouls really hurt us in the first half,” ACCS head coach Billy Britt said. “They had six points off free throws.”
The Rams could never pull away from the Rebels in the first half. They would get up, only to see ACCS cut the gap.
“We had to knock the dust off from the holidays,” WCCA head coach Ray Olive said. “I think their big fellows intimidated us a little bit.”
The Rebels went into the half down 22-20.
The Rams stepped up the tempo in the second half. Norwood and Justin Davis combined for 23 points to pull away from the Rebels.
“Davis and Norwood’s motor is always running,” Olive said. “A couple of players had off nights shooting. But running the court is our style. We will run and go.”
Britt said he was pleased with his team’s effort.
“As a coach, I couldn’t ask for more effort,” he said. “We haven’t had a lot of team practices due to football and holidays. We’ll get there.”
WCCA Girls 47, ACCS Girls 31
The WCCA Lady Rams used an 18 point second period to pull away from the ACCS Lady Rebels and win 47-31.
“I wasn’t real pleased with the girls’ effort tonight,” Britt said. “We’re not thinking and we have to give up the I quit attitude.”
Hannah Ashley led the Rams with 22 points followed by Allie Fontenot with 12.
Rachael Holloway had 12 points for the Lady Rebels.

I know one thing, I don't think I'm going to leave my house all weekend. I'm planning to stay home, watch tons of tv and do nothing all weekend. I'll need it for the week I'll have next week! I sure won't be shopping since my "uh oh" yesterday! I don't mind, I need the rest.

I got your text. No email.... what was your uh oh? I HAVE to go tomorrow and get my shopping all done... I usually just go one time because I hate shopping sooooooo much.... So tomorrow is the day. We won the float contest in the parade.... so that was good.... I wish I could stay in my house all weekend and do nothing!!! lol

I sent you that in an email yesterday. I brought my bills to work to pay them and discovered I didn't pay my house note at the first of the month. I was furious at myself. It ruined my whole day. I have NEVER done that. So, I had to pay two notes yesterday. It couldn't have been a utility bill or something like that, had to be my house note! Oh I was real mad. Congratulations on the float. How was it decorated? Where do you shop? I can't do all of mine at once. I forget stuff (even with a list). I usually start about July. I buy a few things here and there and by Christmas, I'm almost finished.

But, that's easy to do since I like to shop. The last few times we went shopping, we went to Alexandria. We used to go to Baton Rouge, but it got so congested after the hurricane. I'm going to smoke again. Be back shortly.

Just going to Jackson. That's all I can stand and can't hardly stand that.... and yes, only one time.... Don't ask me to go shopping with you and I won't as you to go hunting with me... lmao..... Hate that about your house note... seems something always happens this time of year....to me too.... I think it justs the Good Lords way of saying WHOA. you going a little over board there during this holiday season... slow down a bit.... lol... Deal on the shopping and hunting! I think you are right about the Lord telling me to slow down. I'm glad someone did. I'm still so mad at myself. I can't believe I did that. I pay my bills when I get them. I don't wait until they are due. That's why I can't believe I let that happen. Oh well, nothing I can do now. I paid two notes yesterday. I sent an email to myo this morning to let her know what story we were on. I sent it to you, too but you didn't get it! Anyway, she said she was planning her Christmas dinner for work (I think?) and she would be on later. My poor mind. I scare myself sometimes! I'm needing a break, too.

That's what counts. At least you don't forget to pay major bills like me!!! I'm thankful I've never done that at work. That's why my brain needs a rest. I spend too much time taking care of other people's stuff all the time and mine ends up suffering. Live and learn.

That is generally what happens whe you have too many irins in the fire! I am glad you could get it fixed. Usually just one ntoe being late will not cause a problem on your credit score!

I hope not because mine was perfect before this. I'm a freak about that. Hopefully it will be fine. It wasn't over 30 days late, so maybe it won't show up on there. I'm just glad I could take care of it. Yes I have way too many irons in the fire. I always do. And everytime I make plans to stay home and do nothing, it gets messed up somehow. I have to babysit, work, etc. Baby is with her grandmother for the weekend, sister is out of town and I already warned the whole family to leave me alone!

That's what counts. Mine used to be dark brown and curly, plus I always had big hair. My aunt told me the other day that she liked it much better before. I like it better now and I get more compliments on it now, so it stays until I get tired of it! Did you post any pictures of it on your myspace?

Not yet! I haven't I still have to do that. I had it down and curly yestereday when I came to work and all the guys thought it looked good! I think the hubby really liked it! My middle son loved it. he said I need to do it like that every day!

People rarely send me joke texts. I'm kind of glad though. The most use mine gets is with my boss when he's hunting. He's constantly texting me wanting to know what is going on. So, I never get in trouble for my phone being on!

Boy, this has not been my week. I forgot that when I woke up this morning a large portion of the lights (on my pre-lit Christmas tree) were out. Now I have to dig some out of the attic and gently try to weave them in to keep from breaking anything. I think I'll do that tomorrow when I get home from work. Now I'll be short a strand in my bushes outside (if I get around to putting those up!). I just might not. I looked at my yard when I pulled up and really was tempted to mow the front to pick up some of the leaves. I doubt I'll manage to go all weekend without doing it. I'm going to try, though. I might do the front tomorrow and the back Sunday. Nahhhh. I don't think so. I need rest. Truth, are you looking forward to your trip tomorrow? OK, I was only joking. Sorry. lol
