Lloyd chosen as Grand Marshal

Ferriday — Tiffany M. Lloyd, the reigning Miss Black Louisiana USA 2008 and former Miss Alcorn State University 2002-2003 will serve as the Grand Marshal for the Louisiana Black Bayou Rodeo Parade in Monroe, La., at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.

Lloyd will also sing the national anthem at the rodeo which will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Monroe Civic Center.

Lloyd, a native of Ferriday, recently competed in the Miss Black USA 2008 pageant in Las Vegas ranking in the top 3 as America’s Choice, a perfect score on the interview and received the best talent award.
