One arrest made in gas station robbery

NATCHEZ — One of the men who allegedly robbed the Zippy No. 7 early Monday morning did not have much time to spend his loot.
Jessie James McKnight, 42, 2707 Roselawn Drive, a former night manager at another Zippy store was arrested Tuesday on charges of armed robbery.
The store clerk was forced in the stores cooler by a gunman while the store was being robbed. She reportedly heard a second man in the store and police believe this to be McKnight.
“We developed information that Jessie McKnight was involved. That he was an accomplice, the second man in the store,” Sgt. Craig Godbold said.
Police are still investigating the case and have a good description of the first gunman.
