TWENTY YEARS AGO — Robert Nelson goes 3-for-4, strikes out 13 batters and throws a three-hit shutout to lead Dlynn Braswell to a 6-0 win over Big Joe Oil in Dixie Majors Baseball League action.

TEN YEARS AGO — This year’s Miss-Lou Basketball Camp marks the first time a separate camp is held for boys and girls, with camp director Sam West welcoming 30 girls ranging between the first and eighth grades.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Matt Mason, who graduated from ACCS in 1992 and was an assistant baseball coach at Amite School Center for two years, is named the new head baseball and assistant football coach at Trinity.
