Vidalia All-Stars blow out South Franklin in first round

WINNSBORO, La. — The Vidalia 9 and 10-year-old All-Stars beat South Franklin 23-4 Saturday night in the opening game of the sub-district tournament.
Vidalia went up on South Franklin early and the game was called after four innings due to the mercy rule.
Pate Shirley and Cole Cangemi pitched two innings each for Vidalia while Tyler Cothern, Cole Cangemi and Nathan Knapp had multiple hits in the victory.
Vidalia was to play Winnsboro Sunday night in the second round of the tournament.
