JONESVILLE — A Jena man is dead after his motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup truck Sunday.

Billy J. Butler, 20, of Jena, was riding his 2007 Honda CR125 eastbound on the Old Jena Road when he crossed the centerline directly in front of the 2004 GMC Sierra driven by Vincent Kenneth Williams, 20, of Jonesville, Louisiana State Police Troop “E” Public Information Officer Scott Moreau said.

At that point, the motorcycle dropped and began to slide on the road, colliding with the front of the truck, Moreau said.
