United States Senate candidate Ronnie Musgrove talks with court administrator Angela Thornburg during his visit to the Natchez courthouse Friday afternoon.

Musgrove makes campaign visit

Published Saturday, September 27, 2008

NATCHEZ — On Friday Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate Ronnie Musgrove was in Natchez shaking hands and drumming up support for his run at the senate.

And Friday’s stop in Natchez was only one in a line of many for Musgrove.

His press assistant said Musgrove made stops in McComb, Magnolia, Liberty, Fayette and Vicksburg before heading back to Jackson.

While in Natchez Musgrove visited with county officials at the Adams County Courthouse before heading to city hall.

“People don’t believe Washington is working,” he said. “We have to stop excessive out of control spending.”

Musgrove also said if elected he’ll work on an energy plan that would rapidly bring down the price of gas, end dependency on foreign oil, drill on local coasts and develop alternative fuel sources like wind and natural gas.

In November Musgrove will face Republican Sen. Roger Wicker in the race for the senate.

Teach and Rush...not very constructive or becoming of you...I know you both can do better than calling names, screwing your eyes up, sticking out your tongues and waggling your fingers while your thumbs are in your ears...and that's a bipartisan comment!

From the article, Musgrove is pledging to cut government spending, drill more, develop alternative energy like natural gas...hmm...sounds conservative...hmm sounds Republican...hmm...I don't believe him...I saw what he did as governor...NOT MUCH...and what he did do was liberal tax and spend.

that's right Sam

tax and spend

I know one thing - when I write letters to Wicker, I get a well written response back. I've complained to Wicker about several things - rising minimum wage, lenient enforcement of illegal immigration laws, how I want more exploration and drilling of domestic oil, take a big stick to our enemies, and other important issues. He understands what we need and what we want. I think Musgrove, like Obama, is gonna tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear, and then go with the rest of the socialists, I mean democrats.

I'm voting Wicker.
