Church to have homecoming services

NATCHEZ — The Southwood Lodge Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Rev. Tracy Cusic, will celebrate its annual homecoming program at noon on Sunday.

The Rev. Billy D. Robinson will be the guest speaker and music will be provided by the Walmart Gospel Choir.

Robinson is a native of Leland and is the pastor of Mount Ararat Church in Leland, the second vice moderator for the Washington County General Baptist Association.

He is a graduate of Leland High School and attended Mississippi Valley State and the Reform Seminary in Jackson.

The well known Walmart Gospel Choir is under the direction of Doris Gordon and will be accompanied by Tony Gordon.

The choir is in its 12th year of existence.

Refreshments will be served in the church’s annex immediately following the service.

Everyone in invited to attend.

The church is located at 224 Upper Kingston Road.
