Monterey man on the run from CPSO
Published Wednesday, December 23, 2009
VIDALIA — The search continues for a Monterey man apparently on the run from a jail sentence.
Henry Louis Shavers, 42, of Monterey pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempted illegal carrying of weapons in Seventh Judicial District Court in August, and was ordered to report to the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office to start serving his sentence on Nov. 2, according to a news release from the CPSO.
Shavers failed to appear to begin the sentence, which included two concurrent five-year hard labor sentences with the Louisiana Department of Corrections, two concurrent six-month parish prison terms and a two-year hard labor sentence without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence that would run concurrent with the other sentences.
Shavers is a self-employed farmer who was last known to live at 202 Duck Pond Road. He is described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall black male with brown hair and brown eyes weighting 170 pounds.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should immediately contact the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-336-5231, 318-386-2200 or 318-757-3162.

Anyone know where 202 Duck Pond Road is located in Monterey, LA? lol!!
Didn't think so.
So does this means he was "last seen" at Duck Pond Road in Natchez, MS, if he is actually "resides" in Monterey, LA.
And someone please tell me how he was able to make bail and what liberal-puke judge had the nerve to think he was never a flight risk?

Hard call on that one.
It could be either the one who spends more time explaining the defendant's rights to them in more excruciating detail than it takes to describe brain surgery, asks each and every defendant if they have been abused or mistreated by law enforcement in any way, and has a track record of giving out discount bonds or reducing sentences that are years past the point of filing for relief from.
Or it could be the presiding and sleepy on the bench good owle bowye.
I'm voting for #1. For letting them out, I mean.

Here's how to catch him. Just go to the address his farm subsidy check is sent to and wait. Googling "Henry Shavers, Concordia Parish" rang up this interesting web address,
http://farm.ewg.org/sites/farm/top_recip...
showing "Henry Shavers farms" subsidy receipt record. Apparently lil ole Henry has been getting $35,000.00 some odd a year to help him farm.
Hint: Some folks might not want him caught.

Easyer to fine him than that, just go to the Duck Pond Road
address and break the gate down, then the door and haul him out of the house!
Or ask R. P. where he is if at that location. You know his "Sugar Mother" will know where he is. She's kept him out of jail all this time

Thanks Dissident, I stand corrected.
I believe I know exactly where this is or the general area. Seems that I remember a guy with a bunch of pitbulls was busted in this area a few years ago. Had his stash(s) buried all around the dogyard.
Problem is that patrols in this area are nil or were when we had a camp in the area years ago. Sits right on the Concordia/Catahoula line.

A self-employed farmer who cultivates his land and bring forth fruit....oh! the fruit in question is marijuana.
At least he is All American criminal who contributes to the plight of his brotherns.

Don't guess at which Judge sentenced Herry Shavers and gave him "time out" before he began to serve his sentence. Just check the court minutes and you will find it was the "presiding and sleepy on the bench good owle bowye."
