Kingdom Bound will sing for gospel fest

Published Saturday, June 6, 2009

Vidalia — Kingdom Bound quartet from Jena, La., will be the featured quartet for First Saturday Gospel Music Fest at 6 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Church in Vidalia.

Kingdom Bound was formed in November, 2000, and even though some of the members have changed, the desire to serve God by spreading the Gospel through music has grown stronger. The current group is David Sherrill, Ross Carter, Chad James and Ben Stewart. They have shared the stage with many of Southern Gospel’s leading singers and were awarded “Group of the Year” in 2006 by the South Texas Gospel Music Association.

The program will be opened by the Calvary Quartet from Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia.
