Boil water notice issued for Coles Community Water customers

CROSBY — A boil water notice has been issued for all Coles Community Water custiomers in the Coles and NEBO communities to due a loss of pressure. Severe weather Saturday caused a line break across Foster Creek in Crosby. Water must be boiled vigorously for at least one minute before cooking or drinking. Customers will be notified when water has been determined to be safe. This notice only affects customers on the Amite County side of the system. Customers on the Wilkinson County side in Rosetta and Perrytown are not affected.
