2-year-old drowns in Centreville pool

WOODVILLE — A Centreville girl drowned Monday in a neighbor’s swimming pool.
The 2-year-old had wandered away from family members with another 2-year-old.
Wilkinson County Coroner Travis Sharp said Breanna Jones was found in the pool on Cosby Street just before 3 p.m. Monday.
She was pronounced dead at a local hospital an hour later.
Family members noticed the girls were missing and found the surviving girl wandering around. She reportedly told them her friend was in the water.
