Nelson named All-American Scholar

STAFFORD, Texas — The United States Achievement Academy recently announced that Taylor Deshun Nelson, a seventh-grade student at Stafford Intermediate School has been named an all-american scholar. The all American scholar awards program pays recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines.
These scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average.
Only scholars nominated by school instructors or counselors are accepted.
Nelson was nominated by Desiree L. James at Stafford Intermediate School.
She will appear in the national published yearbook of scholars.
Nelson takes all honors classesa and maintains an A plus average. She also plays volleyball at the school.
She is the daughter of Robert and Jackie Nelson of Stafford. Grandparents are Stephen and Eva Sharp of Kirbyville, Texas and Robert and Pat Nelson of Natchez.
