TEN YEARS AGO — Matthew Tolbert has 19 carries for 297 yards and four touchdowns as the Centreville Tigers begin defense of Class AAA State title with an impressive 40-0 win over Leake Academy.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Andrew Ellard has 316 all-purpose yards and three TDs and Cathedral’s defense stops St. Aloysius inside the 10-yard line in a 28-21 win over the Flashes to clinches a playoff berth in Class 1A.
