Ray Brown did not turn in a pre-runoff report and could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

Mayfield spent $12,217.98 in the last period and $36,401.89 total.

The majority of Mayfield’s donations are under $1,000, but Natchez businessman David Paradise contributed $2,000 this period and $7,000 to date.

Candidate Randy Freeman, who finished third to Brown and Mayfield in the Nov. 3 general election, also turned in his termination report.

Freeman reported receiving $1,250 between Oct. 25 and Nov. 14, and $30,900 total.

He spent $3,795.52 in the most recent period and $30,469.33 total.

The election is Nov. 24. Absentee voting is ongoing in the circuit clerk’s office from 8 to 5 p.m. through Friday and from 8 to noon Saturday.

If Ray doesn't follow the rules in the election, what makes you think he will follow them behind a badge!?

If one of the two candidates breaks the law before even possibly being elected, that's a good sign of past and future behavior, according to Dr. Phil on TV.

Chuck Mayfield plays by the rules.
He always has.

Past performance is indicative of
future behaviour.

Enough said !

People didn't Mr. Brown say that he doesn't have the experience for this job, that he would hire other's with the experience if elected for sheriff. So that's what he's waiting on, assistant with the paper work. LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ETC. Please let's Vote for the man with the experience. CHUCK MAYFIELD!!!!!!!
