Case management appreciation week this week, Oct. 11-17

Published Sunday, October 11, 2009

Natchez — The Division of Case Management Services for Southwest Mississippi Mental Health Complex is celebrating Case Management Week Oct. 11-17.

This year’s theme is “Case Management: The Gear to Recovery.”

Case Managers assist individuals in identifying, securing and sustaining a range of resources needed to live independently in their communities.

Case Managers can be located in Adams, Amite, Claiborne, Franklin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lincoln, Pike, Walthall and Wilkinson counties.

SMMHC’s case managers will be acknowledged at an appreciation luncheon Friday at the Days Inn in McComb. Awards and other gifts will be presented at this time.

Keep in mind, case managers are the gears of support; they are courageous, compassionate, and committed to providing quality services to the individuals on their caseloads.

So, if you know a case manager, thank them, they deserve it.

For additional information regarding case management services, please contact Debbie Wilson, Director of Case Management Services at (601) 249-4213 or dwilson@swmmhc.org.
