TWENTY YEARS AGO — Natchez High senior split end Anthony Mosby is named The Democrat’s Player of the Week after catching nine passes for 159 yards and three TDs in a 27-7 homecoming win over McComb.

TEN YEARS AGO — Vidalia head coach Dee Faircloth says his players need not to pay attention to a Crowville team that struggled earlier in the season but rather one that upset Block 20-6 just two weeks ago.

FIVE YEARS AGO — Blake Devall has 22 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown and Blake Devall throws a 72-yard TD pass to Jeffrey Delee in the fourth quarter as the Centreville Tigers defeat Central Private 21-6.
