Pilgrimage Garden Club announces court

NATCHEZ — The Pilgrimage Garden Club has announced the 2011 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The pages, maids and generals in the royal court will serve the Pilgrimage Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.

The court is as follows:

Page Kailey Page Gremillion

Kailey is the daughter of Brandon and Tori Gremillion. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Page Blackwell and Vicki and Sylvan Gremillion. Kailey is in the first grade at Cathedral and enjoys soccer, softball, ballet and gymnastics. Her prior pageant participation was Little Maypole.

Page Mylie Addison Magee

Mylie is the daughter of Tony and Sydney Magee. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Martha Salters of Natchez, and Paul and Jan Magee of Mendenhall. Mylie enjoys T-ball, tumbling, dancing and going to the creek. Her previous pageant participation was Little Maypole.

Page Jacob Thomas Hairston (Jake)

Jake is the son of Kemp and Ellyn Hairston. He is the grandson of Phyllis and the late Fred Falkenheiner of Vidalia, and Ira and Mary Allene Hairston of Hollandale. Jake’s interests include T-ball and basketball. He is a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church and a coach pitch travel team, the Concordia Cobras. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Picnic.

General David Thomas Jeanson

David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jeanson and Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Kimbrell. He is the grandson of Mr and Mrs. John Jeanson and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Marin. David graduated from Cathedral and attends Mississippi State University. He enjoys golf and tennis. His prior pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Polka.

General Jonathan Kole Junkin

Kole is the son of John Ward and Ashley Junkin and Christi Rabb. He is the grandson of Paul and Faye Arnold, Dick and Pat Junkin and Jim and Diana Nutter, all of Natchez. Kole is a business major at Mississippi State and is a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity. His interests include hunting and sports. His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole and Big Maypole.

General Andrew Hart Little

Andrew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Little Jr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Franklin Little Sr. of Columbia, and Mr. Graham Tempel of Brookhaven and the late Mrs. Graham Tempel. Andrew graduated from Cathedral, is attending Copiah-Lincoln and is employed by W&T Offshore as a production operator. His interests include hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and playing with his dog, Beau. His previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Fisher Boy, Picnic, Virginial Reel, Polka and Confederate Flag Runner.

General Joseph Ryan McDonough

Joseph is the son of Pat and Debra McDonough. He is the grandson of Lenell Snyder and Dr. and Mrs. William Godfrey and the late Patrick McDonough III, all of Natchez. McDonough attends the University of Southern Mississippi where he is a business major. He enjoys hunting, fishing, video games, baseball and football. His previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Showboat, Virginia Reel and Soiree.

General Patrick Anthony McDonough

Patrick is the grandson of Lenell Snyder and Dr. and Mrs. William Godfrey and the late Patrick McDonough III, all of Natchez. Patrick attends Alcorn State University’s nursing program. His interests include baseball, football, hunting and fishing. His previous pageant participation is Maypole, Showboat, Virginia Reel, Polka, Soiree and Soiree Lead.

General Jesse James Morrison

Jesse is the son of Tim and Blanche Morrison. He is the grandson of the late Jessie Tidwell and Kathryn Tidwell of Dothan, Ala., and Jimmy and Joan Morrison of Alabama. Morrison attends the University of Alabama where he majors in chemical engineering. He enjoys running, sports, playing with this dog and cheering on the Crimson Tide. His previous pageant participation includes Picnic, Soiree and Soiree Lead.

General Frederick Stacy Parker

Stacy is the son of Mrs. Courtney Stacy Taylor and Mr. Fred Parker of Natchez and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ruder of Brandon and the late Mr. Perry Stacy and Mrs. Joy Parker of Natchez. Stacy graduated from Cathedral High School where he was a member of the varsity cross country, soccer and swim teams. As a senior, Stacy was awarded the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at Ole Miss Eudora Welty Award for Creative Writing. An Eagle Scout, Stacy enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, cooking, writing, playing guitar and drums and writing music. Stacy is a junior at the University of Mississippi, majoring in English and is employed by the City Grocery Restaurant Group. After graduation, Stacy plans to attend culinary school. Previous tableaux participation includes Raising of the Flag, Court Drummer, Soiree, Polka, American Flag Bearer and Showboat.

Maid Molly McCutchen Butts

Molly is the daughter of Russell and Stephanie Butts. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Lucius Butts and the late Hilda Amy Butts and Mrs. Flavius Smith and the late Flavius Smith, all of Natchez. Butts graduated from Trinity Episcopal Day School and is attending Mississippi State University where she is an educational psychology major. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She enjoys running, traveling, reading and tennis. Her previous pageant participation was Maypole, Flower Girl, Placard Bearer and Polka.

Maid Alexandra Crimens Clifford

Alexandra is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keith Clifford. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lawrence Kimbrell of Natchez and Mrs. Charles A. Clifford and the late Mr. Clifford of Lecompote. Clifford graduated from Lee County High School in North Carolina. She attends the University of Mississippi where she is majoring in hospitality management. She enjoys baking, cooking, ballet and piano. Her previous pageant participation was in Little Maypole.

Maid Haley Drew Forman

Haley is the daughter of Stephen Burr Forman and the granddaughter of Peggy Sue Forman. Haley graduated from Trinity Episcopal Day School and is attending the University of Southern Mississippi

where she is majoring in advertising. She also serves as vice-president of the American Advertising Federation Southern Miss Chapter. Forman enjoys rugby, graphic design and psychology. Her previous pageant participation includes Maypole and Polka.

Maid Madeline Mae Jeansonne

Jeansonne is the daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Michael Jeansonne. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Ferguson of Natchez and Mrs. Carl A. Jeansonne of Alexandria, Va., and the late Carl A. Jeansonne. Madeline attends Rhodes College where she is a biology major and is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She enjoys reading, traveling and sports. Her previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Polka Flavor Girl, Pinic, Can-Can and the lead in the Soiree.

Maid Jessie Kaitlyn Mayfield

Mayfield is the daughter of Chuck and Sylvia Mayfield of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of Bobbie and Charles Mayfield of Natchez, and Jean Sartin of Oxford. Kaitlyn graduated from Trinity Episcopal Day School and is attending the University of Southern Mississippi where she is majoring in elementary education. She enjoys horseback riding, ballet and LSU football. Her previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Showboat, Can-Can, Virginia Reel and Soiree.

Maid Louisa Leshe Mohon

Mohon is the daughter of Anne B. Stowers, the late Luther A. Stowers and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel M. Mohon, all of Natchez. She is a Cathedral graduate and is attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she is an art and graphic design major. She enjoys photography, cooking, traveling and painting. She was named CHS “most athletic” in 2008. Her previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Virginia Reel, Picnic and Polka.

Maid Virginia Grace Scarborough is the daughter of Jan Scarborough and Dr. Bruce Scarborough of Natchez. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Grace Scarborough of Byram, and the late Charles and Virginia Estess of Clinton. She is a graduate of Cathedral High School and is attending Mississippi State University where she is a special education major. She is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Her previous pageant participation includes Maypole, Picnic, Soiree, Sweetheart and Wedding.
