NATCHEZ — Memorial service for Paul Alan Temple, 46, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Hospice Ministries Inc. of Ridgeland, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hurt officiating.
Mr. Temple donated his body to science. It was his hope that his death might benefit others. There will be no burial.
Friends and family are invited to his remembrance at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at the church.
Mr. Temple was born July 9, 1960, in Chicago, lll., the son of James E. Temple and Ruth Temple.
He graduated from high school in New Breman, Ohio, and continued his education in the U.S. Navy where he became a chef. He was honorably discharged from the Navy and was a retired civil servant. He was a Baptist and a member of the American Legion, Loyal Order of the Moose and Goldwing Association.
Mr. Temple was preceded in death by his father, James E. Temple, and a sister, Barbara Louise May.
Survivors include his spouse, Rosemary E. Temple; children, Debra Lynn Lindsey, Brenda Lynn Temple, April Simone Temple, Abrina Ann Temple, Arwen M. Freemyer and Stephanie G. Holifield; grandchildren, Brelyn Nichole Lindsey, Dhohne Freemyer, Mona Freemyer and Stephen L. Holifield Jr.; and former spouse, Tammy E. Temple.
