Johnnie Lee Tanner, 84, of Natchez, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Adams County Nursing Center.

Cremation was under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Mr. Tanner was born June 25, 1922, in Gunnsion, Miss., the son of Tom and Sena Tanner. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his sisters, Ruth Lee Montgomery and Lillie M. Jones, both of Natchez; 18 nieces and nephews; 32 great-nieces and nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and nephews.
