NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Lee Hargrave Sr., 54, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 21, 2007, in Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Hargrave was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Natchez, the son of Eddie and Julia Woods Hargrave. He was a 1971 graduate of South Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He retired from International Paper Company after 24 years of service. Mr. Hargrave was a brick mason for 30 years. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hobbs Hargrave; his children, Rosalind LaTrice Hargrave and her fiance’, Dack Banks, Robert Lee “Sport” Hargrave Jr., and Raven LaShay Hargrave, all of Natchez; brothers, Eddie Hargrave Jr. and wife, Doris, both of Vidalia, Carl Hargrave and wife, Juanita, of Baton Rouge, Randolph Hargrave and wife, Deborah, Donnell Hargrave and wife, Virginia, and Paul C. Hargrave and wife, Jacqueline, all of Natchez; sisters, Dianne Hargrave Johnson and husband, Edward, both of Natchez and Carolyn Hargrave Fleming and husband, Vernell, both of Clinton; brothers-in-law, David Alford, Tyrone Alford, Curtis Alford and wife, Pamela, all of Lakeland, Fla., and Kenneth Alford and wife, Catherine, of South Bend, Ind.; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
