Arthur Ray Laing, Jonesville

JONESVILLE — Services for Arthur Ray Laing, 66, of Harrisonburg, La. who died July 31, 2007, at his home, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Bird’s Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Cotton officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Laing was born Nov. 19, 1940, in Jonesville, the son of Malcolm and Irene Laing of Harrisonburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
