NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Bessie L. Mitchell, 81, of Mandeville, formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, July 27, 2007, at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington, La., will be 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. today at Laird Union Street Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mitchell was born May 2, 1926, in Newton County, the daughter of Lee and Della Addy Tillmon.

Survivors include her niece, Linda Haley Ziemba of Slidell, La.; nephew, Elbert E. Haley Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Brandon; great-nieces, Micheale Ziemba Pastuszek, Allison Ziemba and Molly Ziemba; a great-nephew, Steven Haley; great-great-nieces, Madeline Pastuszek and Emma Bolduc; and a great-great-nephew, Brady Haley.
