To all my cousins,We have just went thru this, just a few months ago with daddy,Your Uncle,as Uncle Ira is my uncle. There are no words to say at this time to ease the pain of loosing him, since we lost Aunt Mildred last year. But he is much better off,he was just laying there, just like my dad was.Its hard to lose anyone, but a parent is hard.
Poor ,mama, she has out lived all 3 brothers, and she was the only girl, but she helped to raise those boys to make sure they got their education, and making something out of theirselves by inlisting in the service. She loved her brothers dearly, she is 91 years old,and if she makes it,she"ll be 92 Feb.14th (Sweet Heart day)But she was the oldest, and the Uncle Ira,and Uncle Bernard, and Uncle Ford, the youngest, and its so weird, but thats how they are leaving this old world, from the youngest to the oldest.
I"m not ready to let go of my mama yet,but I do know it won"t be much longer. But For Anita,Margaret,Jr.David,Malcolm, and the rest of the family I"m with you in spirit, and my prayers will be for all of you to make it thru this, and for those who have to travel back home, please be very careful driving home. But just know that we love you all very much!
I still may get to come,to the graveside services, because Hunters 4th birthday party starts at 2:00, And he"s so excited over it.But anyway,my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love your 1st cousin
