To the family of Clyde, although I hadn't seen Clyde in years I was just talking about a day before this said situation happened. I will keep the lord lifted up in my life and yours through prayers. May god bless you all. I Morris former Ferriday High School student

Clyde will always hold a special place in my memory. He was only a year old the last ime that I saw him on the day before I left home for college in August 1969. I considered several of his older siblings to be among my best friends at Sevier High, and one that remains a great friend even today. Not only was Clyde the baby of his family but many of us accepted him as the youngest member of the Sevier High School Class of 1969. His oldest sister, Barbara is one of our mates for whom we have great love and admiration. We know that Clyde's life had purpose and his passing is not in vain. All things happen for good reason and God's true purpose can only be manifested in time. May God Bless and comfort the Griggs family in their hours of bereavement.

I only met Clyde once and it was 6:00 in the morning. He'd come to my home on the way to help my brother look for a job. He seemed to be every bit as hardworking and graceful as his parents. I will keep the Griggs family in my prayers and may God grant you the strength needed throughout this difficult time.
