NATCHEZ — Services for Zettie Mae Kirby, 76, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Revs. Steve Pearson and Daniel Lightsey officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kirby was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Jasper County, the daughter of Dock Jackson and Verlia Scott Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jim Cohen Kirby; and a brother, Roosevelt Phillips.

Survivors include her sons, James P. Kirby and wife, Evelyn Faye, and Edward J. Kirby and Sabra, all of Natchez and Scott C. Kirby of Atlanta; grandchildren, Amber N. Kirby and Shelbie Johnson; sister, Mattie Helen Lynn of South Bend, Ind.; brothers, Hillman Phillips of Stringer, and Johnny Phillips of Lucedale; numerous nieces and nephews.
