Betty Smith Gremillion, Ferriday

FERRIDAY — Services for Betty Smith Gremillion, 51, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday, with Denny Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday today.

Mrs. Gremillion was born Oct. 6, 1955, in Chicago to J.E. and Earline Juneau. She was a beautician and resident of Ferriday.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Smith and her mother.

Survivors include husband Donald Gremillion; daughters Brandy Alexander and husband Danny, both of Vidalia; and Mandy Smith and James Cole, both of Ridgecrest; grandchildren Ryan and Logan McIntosh, Devin Alexander,Skye Smith and Ayden Cole; father J.E. Juneau and Hazel Grayson, both of Sicily Island; brother Johnny and wife Peggy Juneau, both of Winnsboro; brother Charles Ginger Juneau of Livingston, La.; sister Candy White and her husband Donald, both of Ferriday; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be John Juneau Jr., Mark Juneau, Michael Stephens, Brandon Juneau, Will Edwards and Mike Carrington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Deon Lirette, Donald White, John Bowlin, Bobby Franklin, Gary Juneau and Troy Johnson.
