MEADVILLE — Services for Patsy Ashley Delaney, 60, of Meadville, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Sarepta Baptist Church.

Burial followed at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Delaney was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Natchez, the daughter of Melvin Ashley and Flora Payton Ashley.

She was a retired bus driver and a member of Sarepta Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Roy Delaney Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Jason Delaney and Charles Roy Delaney Jr., both of Meadville; daughter, Nancy Strittman of Meadville; sisters, Melba Frasier and Joyce Fay Cater, both of Vidalia, Jo Ann Taylor of Jena, and Darlene Hawkins of Ferriday; grandchildren, Dustin and Brandon Goldsmith and Brice and Emily Strittman.
